Promotional Video Production Case Study - Forum 4 Age, Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council

Christine Wilson approached us with the idea of promoting the Forum within the Oldham area. Christine chose Reel 9 as we had undertaken video production work on her Youth Forum project in the past, with great results.

We initially began shooting at all forum events to record the progress and achievements of the forum throughout the year. Christine then commissioned Reel 9 Media to pull the footage together into a short 6 minute promotional video production that would serve three main purposes:

1] As a record of the achievements and events held by the Forum 4 Age.

2] A means of conveying a clear and succinct message from the forum members.

3] To dispel any apprehension and uncertainty, and encourage interested parties in the area to come and join in and get involved in the great work of the forum.

The completed production was edited to DVD and 150 copies were distributed across the borough, generating a great deal of interest and new members. It has also been shown at national council events to promote the work of the forum.
